I have been teaching successfully since 2002. I specialise in Russian and English, and provide expert tuition of high quality. I have been successfully teaching a lot of students for many years.
I’ve been living in Cyprus since 2013. I am a graduate of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russian language teacher for foreigners) and University of Foreign Languages (MA in English/ German language and literature, MA in English/ German translation/ MA in Foreign literature).
Also I have got a TESOL certification (English teacher for non-native speakers).
In total, I have more than 20 years of language teaching experience, both as an academic and a freelance tutor.
I offer online Russian and English lessons for students of all levels – from beginners to very advanced. Courses can vary from general colloquial Russian to Russian for special purposes (business, finance, banking, law, etc).
As part of my work, I also provide online English tuition for non- native speakers.
Russian is one of six official languages of the UN and ranks with English, Chinese and Spanish as a major world language.
Russian is a phonetic language. There are 6 different cases in Russian language, meaning that the ending of the words varies according to their syntactical function in the sentence. Word order is, therefore, highly flexible. The Cyrillic alphabet is closely based on the Greek alphabet, with about a dozen additional letters invented to represent Slavic sounds not found in Greek.
